Correct they talked about the wreck being more of a hit. Allegedly a lot of people in the government didn’t like him at all and were scared he was gonna make a run for president, etc.

The way he beat Rommel, the Desert Fox, in Africa was inspiring. I'll never forget it.

Generals seem to be a bit different than him these days  Scott out did himself in this movie. I always enjoyed watching him act.
