We usually do call in/take out at Applebee's every couple of months (during Covid). They are okay and convenient for us, usually after Church on Sundays.

I went there one more time. They would only take cash or credit card. They would not give me credit for my post count.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

I would never go there just because of that stupid a$$, pop country commercial with people dancing. Kind of today's gay country mixed with rap, I'm sure the Luke Bryan kind of crowd likes that.

What's sad is that sang had been out awhile before Applebee's picked it up for advertising.

We walked into the one in Cleburne and back out. Smelled like an ashtray. Never been to another one.

Stopped at one in Dyersburg, TN Sunday night, what a mistake.

Was shown where our table was and waited and waited. Finally a waiter asked if we had been waited on and we said no.
He said he would find the waitress. After a while she shows up. I order a draft Bud Lite and she asks to see my ID so it can be scanned in the computer. Geez I am 72 years old. So, I asked her for her ID to verify that she was old enough to serve beer, that got no where. Gave her my LTC. Waited and waited to find out the machine was out of paper, finally the beer arrives.

Ordered shrimp which comes with cole slaw and french fries. Shrimp arrives and she asks if I need anything else? Yep, where is the cole slaw and french fires. She brings them and asks is there anything else? Yep, where is he ketchup for the fries.

Should have just gone to Cracker Barrel, but Ii wanted a beer.
