Does it make sense to put all your entry's in one drawing cycle ?...like I did before I began to slightly understand the totally new to me drawing system a little better. It's been 5+ years since I tried to score a Lottery Hunt. I'm also curious about the 2nd Round of 9/15 drawing that comes from folks who got drawn in the 9/15 cycle but failed to pay up in time... How does that work with Entry fee's ..another $3 each? and how long will it be up on Line ?
I still miss the old Newspaper Paper print booklet's that were super simple...Oh well here's hoping I can score a hunt ... Ron

15 days and counting with 3 days to go ....kinda like Christmas Eve for Old Folks looking for drawing just one more TPW hunt ... Never won a hunt doing the StandBy thing yet but if for nothing else to get out of the House and put off the BH's ever growing Honey Do List .... mebbe this time it'll work...I feel certain that I'll have to try a couple places... If you entered the drawing for "xyz" hunt, you're automatically in the second draw, if there is one. The people who win in the first drawing have 10 days to pay and accept the permit, if they don't, they'll do a secondary drawing of all the people who didn't draw. You're way way way less likely to win in a second draw.

Hope I get lucky and draw a decent rifle hunt on the 9/15 hunts. So far I have a squirrel place to hunt near me and an archery deer hunt.
If nothing hits on 9/15 then it is pretty much over for me at that point. The really big hunts come later but I don't have high expectations of winning any of those.

Sounds like the 2nd drawing is lots mo bettah than chasing all over Texas to stand by the gate at dawn30 hoping to score a "standby" hunt...I was always 10/20 minutes late and never won a Stand By. Good Luck Ya'll, just save me a spot OK? Ron

I live up by the red river and the hunt was at Aransas NWR for a bow hunt. My son and I drew the e postcard hunt for Balcones Canyonlands “the whole month of October” so we will focus our efforts there. I was shocked

Thanks! I haven’t received any info about compartments, yet. We will either be in 2-1 or 2-2. My son is only 10 and this will be his 1st real bow hunting in the good ole Texas hill country, and I couldn’t be any more thrilled! Regardless of the outcome, we will have us a good time. He still has around 10 youth hunt draws for tomorrow… Maybe we will score again!

....Wellll.... 10PM of 9/15/21 and no results showing on the Drawing...but I did find out how to look at my LP's and what few hunts are still open to apply for. I cannot believe how many EXO LP's I have....and will add LP's to the specialty Hunts every chance I get from here on.
But ...5:30 AM comes early manana, and we are jammed these days with chasing antique & furniture Auctions, commuting couple times a week to Dallas, Denton, Kaufman, Navarro & Collin and several other North Texas county's, Most anxious to see what the guys in upstate New York have shipped us for our initial pickup with them in Dallas this weekend. Good Luck All... Ron

Ah So Kimosabe ...Now it is becoming mo clearer ...cause I was looking at The TPW List of what I'd put in for at 5:30am this morning with the 2nd cup of coffee and thought mebbe I was all wrong with sumthin...even TPW's computer dinnit recognize my Account # and asked for an ID # I NEVER put on line .... Spooky Stuff for sure.
OKAY now that that has been made clear, I'll go back to cleaning out the back bedroom and the dining room that is crammed with leftover stuff, AKA the storage areas for all the left over stuff from our show booth rental space @ the Antique Shop we work out of is going to an Auction House here in town..... It's like living in a warehouse run by the Better Half for HER fun and games. Ron

Youth Hunts are currently being run. My son picked up a second hunt - already drew Gun Deer Either Sex - and drew the Antlerless/Spike Hunt at Hill Country SNA over the Christmas Holiday. Probably not going to be able to make a second trip to Texas though.

Congratulations on the draw. The Balconies NWR is a fun but tough hunt. Have fun!!!
I got a rifle draw for this one. Any suggestions? I've been out there, but just to visit. Mine is the mid-November dates.

Got the Guadalupe Delta WMA multi species hunt.
Last year 1 guy showed up among 16 hunters over 4 periods. 1 guy!
He also killed 1 hog.
