Funny thing about getting older: Your eyesight starts getting weaker but your ability to see through people's BS gets much better.

He's not talking and has lawyered up. That's unbelievably suspicious.

Mental basket case.................I left a mental basket case gal in Houston once where we had gone to Galveston for the weekend. I left her at the gas station and went back to College Station. Never heard or talked to her again.

The dude is the mental case. If he was innocent, why not cooperate ? Hope she doesn't suffer the same fate as Amy Roe Bechtel.

If you could possibly be considered a suspect, I would lawyer up too.

Watching the bodycam footage she is a wreck. She probably stormed off mad and got picked up by a serial killer. Or is still in hiding trying to make him look like the monster. She was nuts going off with him in the first place. I see why he lawyered up.
I had a crazy exgf that got mad and jumped out of the car in a bad part of the city. When I got turned around to go back and pick her up, she already had two guys trying to force her into their car. Crying and screaming, she almost got abducted. There are some nut cases out there for sure.
One shot is all it should take.

Why blame the guy? If she went bat chit crazy on me again I’d dumped her out somewhere and not say a word either. Anyone that drives a van at that age and has the means to travel for months on end defiantly isn’t normal. Maybe they were on a road trip killing spree and molesting wild animals in the back of that van, hell nobody knows what happened and the blaming and speculation has already started.

Never heard or talked to her again. If she was reported a missing person and the police asked you what gas station you left her at would you have told them? Or hired a lawyer and said talk to him?

Yes, that part is. Agree. If he had called her parents, and said, "hey, your girl went missing. I already have the police looking for her, and I am staying here until she is found" and then layering up because you are now a "person of interest" would not be so suspicious. However, driving back to Florida, not saying a word to her parents or the police and then lawyering up looks suspicious as hell.

His lawyer may have told him to say nothing........The police tell you up front that "Anything You Say Can And May Be Used Against You In Court", and they mean it. The husband or boyfriend is always the first person they look at.

Do they have any idea where the two were separated? From what I read the last time her parents talked to her was in Wyoming, but she could be anywhere between there and Florida.

Incredibly sad...I cannot imagine being a parent dealing with either side of this mess. I hope she's found and she's alive and well.

Agree with Uncle Bubba.
First of all Remember they are in Her Van!!
If it was me in that scenario and the chit got crazy and she ran off, at the very least I would have called her parents and said here is what is going on. Now if it got crazy and I accidentally killed her, then I would have called a lawyer.
In no situation would I have just left with her van without her and drive all of the way back to Florida unless I got some very bad advice from somebody! I bet after what ever went down he called his parents and told them what happened and they told him to drive home and to not say anything to anybody!!!
By him leaving her wherever and driving all the way back to Florida parking her van and not saying chit and lawyering up, he is basically saying something bad happened and he tucked tail and ran like a guilty dog of??
