Some CCI 34, Large Rifle Primers just became available at MidwayUSA:

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1301152162?pid=152162

Get them while they last if you need some.

You bet man, glad the notice helped someone score. Primers have definitely been getting rare to see again. Couple months back we saw a slight trickle of them after a long period without seeing any...but it didn't last long.

I got some too, nearly 21 hours later.
I know it's 2x what it used to be, but for just starting out compiling components, I'll take it.
Thank you.

I'm not 100% certain but I looked/asked around before and found the following:

Functionally there is little to no difference in using either the cci 34 or 200. One's load development process should take care of any difference in the ignition.
The #34 military primer is made with a thicker cup to meet military requirements for accidental bump firing.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Thank you sir for the response! I have proven loads established using CCI 200 primers but they are getting scary low . Guess I will take a chance on these #34 primers and hope I don’t have to develop new loads for all , again thank you for the reply.

I’m pretty sure they’re a magnum primer.

CCI-250 compound.

I've used them, and started the powder charge where I would have anyway, and worked up from there.
