Like to get it done locally somewhere around within 50 miles of Fort Worth. Anyone know a gunsmith in the area that can bush a Remington 700 bolt and do good work?

I always assumed everyone sent them to Greg Tannel.

Alamo maybe??
If you need the bolt bushed, I bet the barrel ain’t so special unless your doing a remage or something.

I had one pitted pretty good even the primer would fill the pi’s some and a very good gunsmith told me leave it alone until your ready for a new barrel and they would fix it when they blue printed the action.

Not local but lri up in Sturgis used to have a pretty fast turnaround on firing pin bushing. In state besides the guys listed is Red Beard Gunworks or maybe Aaron Roberts at Roberts Precision Rifles although I'm not sure if he offers that service.

Barrel is fine just installed it some 300 rounds ago. In fact if I use magnum primers and load a bit off max you can hardly tell.
