I find it interesting that the deer have so much variations in them. Not the best of pics, from a cell phone.

I have noticed that in many herds across the state now for the last 30 yrs. The deer on the left and in the back appear to be in their fall coat already. I noticed the same color phases this past week and it is even more noticeable in low light or in the shadows.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

I've noticed the same on a few deer on my trail cam, some are still the light brown/tan color, and others have their "fall colors" on.

I see the same thing in snakes.....very wide variations depending upon what part of the state you are in. See it with deer and hogs. Not sure about other animals....

Haven't fed corn in over 25 yrs. Protein pellets are much better for them.
