Guys, a fellow reloader passed away and I will have some bullet casting equipment for sale. I am still upacking and sorting but I have no idea if the equipment is complete, i.e. dies or whatever goes in the press. The press is an RCBS Lub a Matic, there are some lead bars, lube sticks, etc and I still have to pick up some more of the equipment like the melting pot and find the molds etc. There are a couple ladels too. Is there anyone local who might be able to help identify some of the pieces? I can work over text with pictures, etc. I am in Fairview near McKinney.

As an aside, there are also a couple presses and various pieces to those presses just dumped into boxes too. Hence I am not certain which pieces might go where as I mix and match up mieces to a Dillon SD, Lee Breech lock press, Lee 4 hole Turret, and a Dillon 650 ( I can cover this this as I have one).

If you might be interested in any of this equipment shoot me a PM. I have found some .38, .44, and 45 semi wadcutters that might have been cast. There were a couple gas checked 44 or 45 bullets in the mix so I cant tell what was being cast vs bought. Again its going to take another trip to gather the remaining pieces.

Thanks,
Kevin

I cast my own bullets for about six or eight calibers from lead I smelt myself from scrap and wheel weights. I sold my Lub-A-Matic on eBay during the pandemic for $400+ when I started powder coating. I think I had $250 in the entire set up.

Pass the gravy.
