What’s the allure of the friction folder?
What are the scales of?
How do you get that color/texture on the blade? Acid, cerakote-type?
Just curious, James

Just curious, James what is the allure? don't know you'd have to ask my customers my suspicion is not everyone needs a high speed tacticool knife all the time sometimes a simple knife, just to sit and do a little whittlen is wanted or open a bottle, or strike a ferro rod but that would just be my guess, you'd have to ask my customers who have them i'm sure each of them would give a different reason scales are g10 on all my friction folders the blade is acid washed / stone washed,, a forced patina,,, it's a natural process that helps tie up some of the surface iron so that its not available for rust,,, doesn't make it rust proof but simply aids in making it a little less susceptible curious is good, thank you James

Looks like they would be real hand for filling deer feeders. Pop the cap on a cold one, flip the leaver and slice open a sack of corn... Or at least that would be a good place to start...

That's cool Shane, I never noticed that feature before. hey Mike, thank you the bottle opener and 90 degree spine on the tang are mine,, not sure if other people are doing it also or not but since i had the room in this design, i thought it'd be a nice little additional feature
