Pulsar just released a new app for their thermals and Nv. Follow the link and see if your model is supported. I’m going to give it a try tomorrow. It’s supposed to be a lot better at connecting and staying connected, and make downloads a lot easier.

Trail XP50 LRF - NoGo. Shame something that cost a grip less than two years ago is already outdated.

They may get around to including them, this is the beta (aka test) so I’m sure it was easier to make it for the new stuff until they work out the kinks

This sure seems like a marketing ploy rather than model incompatibility. I'm left out in the cold for now too, and it hurts since this was supposed to work from the beginning and never has

I spoke with Pulsar USA about the app this morning. They said the factory said older models that were originally released in 2017 and 2018 aren't compatible with the new app, due to older software and/or hardware they are running. That's basically the original Helions, original Trail and Trail LRF's. Most everything else is compatible. The Trails and Trail LRF's have all been officially discontinued since fall of 2019, although a few have been available on the market here and there since then.

I'm sure there is always some hope they can make it work for all the old models as well but if they can improve the app for everyone with a current model and many of their discontinued models (original Thermions) you can't blame them for that. I agree it would be better if worked for all models but for now it is what it is, I still own and use some incompatible models myself but I've never had a Stream Vision issue, although I don't care about streaming or downloading videos, I just use them to update my optics . Let's cross our fingers for some more backwards compatibility.
