While I was shopping at Sam's, they were filling a refrigerated open case with Prime meat cuts. They looked amazing, and I ended up with a beauty of a whole sirloin butt ($7.00/lb I can afford), and nice tri-tip also. That’s not a bad price for prime ribeye. Wife picked up 1 16oz. Prime ribeye at HEB last weekend, it was $18.99 a lb.

As cheap as people are around here, I'm gonna go back on the 6 or 7th, and see if there are any mark downs left in the case!!! They may pull them earlier, and just cut steaks out of them before discounting tho???

They may just put a new tag with a new expiration date on it or they might slice into steaks and charge full price. Don`t ask me how I know.
