yeah field mechanics working on our compressor panels! Running the replace RTD wire in conduit takes so much time! I have seen their wives...I know they aren't rushing to get home to those heifers! Do it right one time or screw with it 3 times.

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

I totally understand. The chemical plant I worked at was built in the 1950's and has been modernized over the years. Going from copper tubing to electrical wire for gauge readouts was always an ongoing task. Having on call duty, I sometimes got to help the electricians chase down wiring from the field to the control room. How those guys and gals kept up with what went where was amazing, especially around 3 AM when most stuff broke.

When it positively, absolutely has to be done overnight.

Thankfully most of the Operations Supervisors had learned over the years what could wait till regular work time or what took several hours to get cleaned up and permitted to work on and have it ready when we came in. When it was electrical or a piece of high pressure tubing that could get the line back up and running in a few hours, we got called in. Sure glad I am retired now, 42+ years of the dreaded phone call in the middle of the night or weekend sucked.
