Side note no one in the entire state of Massachusetts believed that we have freshwater stripers in Texas. I stopped arguing after the 3rd time someone insisted it couldn’t happen….

Well done I used to like to catch and grill hybrids and stripers when I lived on Lake Corpus Christi in the 80's. I would catch both hybrids and stripers below the dam in the Nueces and then hybrids in the lake. I cooked them almost the same as you did but a little different. I would fillet them and then fillet the red meat off also. I would put them in a tinfoil pan and then added a stick of butter, little olive oil, lemon pepper, other spices to taste, lemon juice, little bit of beer and some sliced onion. I would cook them till almost done and then poke holes in the tinfoil to let the butter/juices run out onto the hot coals to flare up and smoke. I would shut the lid on the grill for 2 minutes then take them off the grill.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?
