Well, I sure hope the 2nd person was indeed a suspect and not a good guy coming in to help the officer.

I cut mine off and ran mufflers out the back that gave me better power better sound and got one more mile to the gal.

Will a good motion alarm protect against CC thefts? Seems like the car alarm companies should be making some hay with this.

Mainly Toyota’s. Tundras especially. They like trucks of any kind. Easy access. For some reason they also like Prius but those can be deadly from the jack slips as one of the idiots found out.

Tundra's are the best to steal from because they don't use crap components in their exhaust systems, so the precious metals inside them are less likely be corroded. Scrap yards pay the most for them compared to other brands, so cat converter thieves target them.

Stealing catalytic converters? I never heard of such a thing! How much does a salvaged one sell for & who would buy it? What are they worth? Typically around 100-125 bucks at a local scrap yard. Tundra's bring the premium though so they love hitting them.
