I just heard that the taxi Ive used for many years passed away last week. DD (Double D) taxidermy in Rockwall area. They called to let me know as my buck from 2019 wasnt completed and told me to pick up the horns and cape to take somewhere else. Not sure how he passed.

I just received this news as well from a lease member. I have not received a call from them as of yet on the buck I left in December of 2020. Really hate to hear this.

He did quite a few mounts for me. He was a great guy and did awesome work for a very fair price. I didnt know he was sick but noticed he had lost quite a bit of weight the last time I saw him. He still had that "glad to see you" attitude that he always had so I figured everything was OK with him. He is the only taxidermist I have ever used that would give you a time frame the work would be done and always deliver on that promise. Anyone that has ever had taxidermy work done knows that kind of promise is pretty much never kept but I could always count of Dave to get it done. RIP Dave .gif "angel")

Dave was a great guy and has done several mounts for me over the years. He was very down to earth and always had a smile on his face. I just saw him in December and he never let on that anything was wrong. Rest In Peace!! Prayers for his family and friends.
