225+ weight and sex of animal will all be determined by the hunter and if you can pass small bears and sows up to shoot a big boar.

There are a couple different way we go about starting a bear. One is from the truck where we will rig dogs and go drive country where bears are at and once the dogs strike we turn them loose. Where they will trail the bear and tree it. We also will road dogs in spots where bears frequently cross roads. Another way is we free cast the dogs in which we will walk or ride mules in country bears love and try to get one started that way.

Is there a limited number of spots for this offer? I’m trying to figure out our trip next year over spring break. I know we will be somewhere between Sedona and Scottsdale in early/mid March. Hoping I can extend the vacation into a bear hunt.
What’s the weather generally like that time of year?

The weather is typically good can be cold at nights and into the mornings but generally nice weather throughout the day. I can accommodate up to 4 hunters. I wouldn’t want to do a group that big in March due to the bears are just starting to move and the activity is slow. Our season usually starts around March 20th but I like mid April and beginning of May for better bear movement. How many would be involved?
