Dang Ol Thumper that stinks.
Is your shop built above the flood plain?

Yes sir it is but we’ve had over 22”s since the end of April. We’ve been in this location since 2006 and never had an issue until this year and we’ve flooded 4 times since the end of April. We’ve just had so much rain this year it’s unimaginable, I have a 2021 D6 dozer that’s been under deer water so many times the insurance company finally told me to call them when it’s safe to get it out lol I’m sure they already have their cancellation notice typed up

I appreciate it but we’ve just moved everything out of the shop n letting it ride, I’m watching the water rise again right now so it’s about to flood again with 4-6”s expected again through tonight. I know some guys still need the rain and I hope they get it but not here, we’ve never seen this type of raining before ever. We have over 30 big oaks and pecans down in the pasture from the ground being saturated and the big storms blowing them down. All we need now is a F5 twister n we will have had a great 2021 before July,

Out here in the boonies we were supposed to get about 0.2” of rain today. I happened to look at the weather radar a while ago and found some really nasty weather coming right at us. And here it is. It’s raining really hard, without letup. The yard is under water. The pond was already full. The ground was already saturated. There’s a real good chance that we’ll have some leaning trees fall over when it’s wet like this. I already have an endless list of stuff that needs doing, so I sure don’t need to add more stuff like downed trees. Grump grump grump….

That's nearly exactly how much rain we've had down here too.

Took this a couple days ago.

Just water running from the pasture... Not a creek. eek

I did have all my equipment high and dry.

Planning on going to Fton this weekend. Trying to give it enough time where the buzz of the skeeters drowns out all other noises.

The wheat looks terrible. Even if it stopped right now it will be a week before machines can get into the fields.
