I find the FarmLog App to be very accurate. Have verified FarmLog info with my landowner on several occasions

You can zoom in on your home or hunting property and see how much rain you
have received over certain time frames. Hope this can be used by some of you.

Thanks B Man, this is a useful link and does seem to be accurate with my rain gauge.

Same here and I've been looking for something like this. My neighbor has a wx station he has linked to Weather Underground and it is useful to see rain totals at his house, but what is missing are the more important totals on the ridge and upstream of our creeks which dictate runoff into my tanks. The app B man posted gives a much broader view and correlate to my neighbor's station. Thanks!

Case in point, I have only had .90" in last 24 hours at my house, but up on the ridge there has been almost double that and it is still coming. Hoping the tanks get some of that!

1.75" yesterday afternoon at our place and about 1.3" in New Braunfels.
We had some serious winds in the storm in NB and also had a bad winds early Tuesday am at our place that tore up some tin on one barn and uprooted a bit mesquite.

Closer to the coastline they are getting absolutely hammered. Some areas are now over 14" the past 24 hours and still climbing.

I use the farm log app also and have always found it to be pretty consistent. Farm logs says we have had 1.03 inches, the iweathernet linked map says we have had 4+ inches. Wonder if farm logs just hasnt updated as the info seems to run a day or so behind on it.

Bad wind woke me up at 2:30 this morning, no damage or rain, but it was howling!

Hope everything is alright for you at your place.
You are gonna have some B&C mesquitos soon!

I just added up my total since this all started nearly 4 weeks ago on 4/23 and I'm sitting at 12.81".
I'm very, very thankful for sure as we were not in a good spot a month ago at all.

You are right about the HUGE mosquitos! Just got another 4.35 inches of rain this morning on top of the 10.5 inches earlier in the week. My pond is in my front driveway now.

'Won't stop raining in Boerne/Fair Oaks area today. It wasn't raining earlier in town (San Antonio) though. Nothing out further west, but, that's to be expected.

When I left Buffalo Sunday we have had 10" rain in May. Last night it rained 4", thus 14" inches in May.

Wonder when and IF, we are going to be able to cut hay?

Well, there are thousands of acres of sudan and other hay here that is now 6'+ tall and headed out. As you well know it loses some of it's protein and such at that point but the reality is I believe most of the guys around here would agree this problem is a good one to have versus last year when most of it burned up and that which didn't made pretty meager cuttings.

I have coastal now knee deep and 5 weeks ago had basically nothing at all. I think some of mine will roll up 5-6 big bales per acre with is tremendous for us as it usually makes 2-3 in a decent cut.

Even if we didn't get another drop at this point it would have to be sunny and warm days for at least 8-10 days before I could lay mine down because the grass is so thick and holding the moisture. Even laying it down flat with a disc cutter it will take at least 3 days to dry due to the moisture in the ground so hitting a window will be tricky as hell. The grazer hay that is planted will take a week on the ground before it can be rolled up and even them I damn sure wouldn't put it in a barn for at least 2 months. One of my coworkers found this out the hard way 3 years ago and lost 176 bales and a pretty nice barn.
