I filed mine in March - first refund in years. Then new IRS rules came out with additional guidance so they will be sending me more refund $.

You hope. People have been waiting months for theirs. IRS blames it on being under staffed and old equipment.

Extension is only for filing. If you owe money you still have to pay by 6/15 or get penalized.

Don't think you have to be a CPA to work at H&R and do people's taxes. If you are, something went wrong along the way. bolt

Yeah because you know a CPA didn't go through the trouble to obtain their license to sit at a desk in a strip center.

I'm not responsible enough to do a planned deadline filing. I need to do it as soon as it pops into my mind or there's a good chance I'll get a certified letter.

I mailed those bastages two large check in January. They cashed one but not the other and it still has not cleared. I have been told I can’t put a stop pay on it in case it turns up in the mail room so I have to leave a bunch of money in my checking account. Just wrote them two more this month.

Last year I sent my taxes in on time, wrote them a check the deposited a few days later. My taxes never showed up on IRS Website, Called them 3 times, got 3 different excuses and reasons why, and of course Covid was one excuse.

I was told not to refile, all three times, I finally refiled with a note and copy of my endorsed check by the US Treasury, and finally about 3 weeks ago they finally made my taxes transcripts available online.
