For the last two weeks I have had a sharp pain on the ball of my left foot. Like I had stepped on a piece of glass.
Wife looked and saw a small black dot. I stepped on a sea urchin a couple years ago and thought maybe a piece worked it’s way to the surface.

She starts digging, and she tells me she thinks it’s an ingrown hair. On the bottom
Of my foot????? Not likely.

She pulls it and it was an inch long hair, hurt like a MF’er.

Google said it’s a hair splinter, which is fairly uncommon.

When I was married and had a house full of females, I would get those from time to time from stepping on hair. I never had one longer than a few minutes so I never had one get infected. I knew instantly when I got one and can't imagine how bad two weeks with one would hurt.

The first liar never has a chance. Neosporin cures everything except a broken heart.

You'll need to start shaving there each day.

Real foot pain miserable! I had a thrombosis in my foot that needed surgery, I had stepped on something which created a lump in my foot under a vein which created a clot, I was severely hobbled for a while.

for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

I've heard of growing hair on your palms, but never the bottom of your feet. roflmao

I get severe pain in my feet and ankles every once in a while and I never know where it comes from. It sets in and usually after a few days it's gone. The longest it ever stayed around was a couple of months, and like every other time, I can't think of anything I did to injure it. I've started calling it old guy pains.

All sounds painful but I might or might nor notice it, Neuropathy in both feet for 25+ years is a pain literally.

I fell in a patch of prickly pears at PK when I was in early teens. I had a whole leaf on my shoulder and one on my butt. 3 or 4 people took turns pulling thorns out my backside for 1-1/2 hours. A month later I was sitting in church and felt an itch on my thumb. I started scratching it and pulled a full size thorn that was completely imbedded in my thumb. It came out backwards and got stuck at the barbs.
