Not yet...going through amendments right now.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect. Some people live an entire lifetime & wonder if they ever made a difference in the world, a veteran doesn't have that problem. Reagan

Aren't there a couple of amendments? Wonder what will happen when it goes back to the house? It goes to a joint committee to solve the small differences in the house and senate version, then it goes to the Governor to be signed into law. It's a done deal.

The AP is already lying to the public about this: "Texas would allow people to carry a handgun without a license, and the background check and training that go with it."

It goes back to the house because the bills out of both chambers must be identical before they go to the governor and Gov. Abbott has said he will sign the bill if it makes it to his desk.

When does it become effective? Historically, some time in September. The first, I think.

Do you think we'll see movement of this bill, or will it doe where it is? I had a pretty good feeling that they would reconcile it, but now I'm wondering...

The AP is already lying to the public about this: "Texas would allow people to carry a handgun without a license, and the background check and training that go with it." Hmmm, I don’t see any lie in that statement. You would be able to carry without an LTC, which involves an enhanced FBI background check, demonstrating your proficiency and learning the laws concerning the use of deadly force (aka training).
