Those are not 22s.

Regardless, the sidewalls are short. Short sidewalls = rough arse ride.

Yeah, those are at least 26's...may be 30's with probably 25 profile tires.

Lower profile will ride worse going over bumps, but actually drive better in turns and at higher speed.

I should have said “ off pavement “

About 50% of my time is off pavement so I use that as the standard

I think those big wheels with the shorter sidewall tires look dumb as hell. There is a jacked up ford at a shop here in New Braunfels that is all white....and I mean all white including the underbelly with wheels that have to be even larger than 22" and the sidewall of the tires cannot be more than 4" high. thing looks absolutely STUPID and I would bet the tires, wheels, lift, shocks, etc are well in excess of $10k

Probably closer to $25k. That's 10k just for the wheels.

Get some wheels that are 22” wide, too, like that half ton in the pic. Then stop by Vatozone for the chrome package. Some colorful LED’s for the wheels wells. Maybe order a sticker for the back window that reads “buzzsaw” in old English font. You’ll be all set.

Remember when 20’s were big? Now they’re standard. My work pickup has 20’s, and they look fine, but I hate them just because I can remember when that was ghetto.

True, I don't offroad my truck much at all, I just use my my SxS's for running around my property.

One of my previous trucks had 16" wheels and bigger tires, when I switched to 20's it drove better on the highway. Not sure why, but it did. More unsprung weight I guess helped it settle down. Of course if you get too low profile it will be a lot rougher on bumps, but for my main uses I preferred the bigger wheels.

If you offroad a lot I think 18's are the way to go.

In that situation, the larger sidewalls probably offered too much flexibility.

Went with 35’s on 18’s this go around. We shall see but it can’t be worse than 35’s on 20’s, that wasn’t anything to write home about. 37’s were great though

I run 22”s with 35” tires on several trucks, camo hat on straight and a pinch of IDGAF’s. Maybe some of you need to upgrade your motorized scooters and drop the flip phones, 1987’s calling you home woot [Linked Image]

If it helps you sleep tonight their all on flat beds and my personal truck has a 45q Yeti on it as well, maybe you need to rub some Mangasil on that little booger and help him sleep better tonight.

LMAO, I bet you guys talking smack all run the orange flags on y’all’s scooters with your blacked out Cataract glasses on rolling down the Walmart isles clap
