That's the biggest Coral Snake I've ever seen in my life, and I've seen quite a few.

I've seen a few Coral Snakes but never one that length! Dang.

Very surprised to hear that it was living in Bastrop County.
That's the extreme western edge of the coral snake distribution. Don't think they even make it across I-35 into the Hill Country.
I was expecting you to say somewhere in deep East Texas!

At this point I guess he'd made a great looking hat band. Of even a belt as long as that sucker is.

I’ve killed a couple here over the last 30 years. One about half that size 10 years ago. One that same size 30 years ago.
