Now cone on I know you hate me but you love tikkas, cut rifled barrels, eldx’s, 6.5 cm’s, 7o8 ai’s h4350 etc.
This has inspired me to break out my Weatherby when I can once again buy components for it.
It's hell eatin em live

Any chance that fine rifle says "Made in Wyoming " on the barrel ?

Any chance that fine rifle says "Made in Wyoming " on the barrel ? It’s a Sheridan model. They didn’t come out with that line while they were in Paso Robles

Numerous times I've seen folks stick a ton of money in a rifle thinking it's going to make them shoot better groups, when the truth is they just don't know how to pull a trigger. A good shooter can shoot a bad trigger, a bad shooter can't shoot any trigger.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I've taught several people how to hand load for their rifles. And I've told them, when testing their loads, they have to be a perfect shooter. It takes some reading and/or instruction, then lots of practice. Since my Optometrist keeps my eyes sharp, and my blood pressure is normal, I can turn in 1/4 MOA or better. I've posted them here before.
This was simply showing what this MK V can do. It's a half MOA factory rifle. I can shoot tighter, but it can't. Still, this is quite good for a mass production rifle.

I seriously doubt a great shooter could make sorry equipment shoot good. Kind of what I was thinking I agree but factory rifles shoot so much better than they used too so it’s getting to be more about the shooter nowadays.

Never met JG, so I have no skin in the game. If someone states a fact, it is not bragging, racist, sexist, condescending, congratulatory, and any other number of things. It is purely a fact. I've never seen him do what he claimed, but I'm quite certain he wouldn't make that claim if it weren't true. A fact is a fact, and only that.

Disagree, but that's OK. I played against Roger Clemens, the most arrogant prick you'd ever want to meet, and incessant braggar. Can't argue with his accomplishments, but didn't negate the fact he was a braggart.
