I have a nused 2013 4x4 XLT and the Pathfinders that came on it are toast. I would like something fairly quiet that fits the stock 18" rims but can handle a little central TX mud when necessary. I've looked at the BFG and the Goodyear; any suggestions? 275/65/18 is stock. TIA.

I bought bridgestone duelers this time around and love them. If you do much mud go with the all terrain.

If you would like to have a blowout at 70 MPH and the manufacturer would not warranty the tire you should buy goodyears.

That is what we run on work vehicles. We get about 60k out of them. They see alot of miles on rough caliche roads. Well above average. AT/3 are what I have on my F150, but I don't put enough miles on it it give you a good review of them.

I know that there was a thread on here not long ago bashing them, but I have the Nitto Ridge grapplers in 275/65/18. I also had the ridge Grapplers on my old F150 in 275/70/18. I got good mileage on both trucks, and have not had any of the wet traction issues that others have spoken of. They are more aggressive than most AT tires, but not as aggressive as a Mud tire. They have worked well for me in the mud so far, and I have been able to get at least 50K miles both times. (at 45K miles on my current set, but will easily get another 5K+). As I have a small lift (2.5" front and 1" rear) I will be getting the 275/70 tires next go around. If you want more aggressive, I did have the Nitto trail grapplers before, but they sucked the gas and were much louder.

Not Goodyear. I guess there doing well in some market but the crappy tires Ford puts on new trucks are shameful.
I put BFG/Michelin on everything.

I wanted Atturo XT's to put on the Jeep...they didn't make a 33x12.5x17's so I went with Fury RT Country Hunter (they are in the hybrid AT/MT category) and I've been pleasantly surprised. The local tire shot recommended them and I've stopped by to thank them for the recommendation. They are WAY quieter than the Toyo RT's I have on the truck. I would not hesitate to try them on an F150. Best thing...they aren't a China tire but priced like one. I have a little over 8k miles on them.
The Toyo AT3's get rave reviews from all the buddies that have them and they are relatively quiet too.
It'll be a while before I try another set of Coopers...the last two sets I had wore funny and if you weren't religious on rotation they would cup. The two I've had issues with were ATP and Zeon.
