I was on the road for 9 days, all but 2 of those days I ate breakfast at a Cracker Barrel, they lay out a pretty good breakfast. They were consistent on every meal even from state to state. My only fault with them is having the little general store when you enter, always had to go find my wife before checkout. She's an Olympic class shopper!

I'm happy for you, I dislike that place very much. It was cool when I was a kid to stop there and order whatever I wanted when I wanted. My taste buds have changed and just don't care for their food anymore. The only thing I do like is strolling through the store to make sure I don't need any candy.

I think the only thing i have ever eaten at cracker barrel is breakfast. Its always good but I feel like out of the seeming 100's of breakfast plates they have I can never find one that is what I want.

The smell from all the candles and other things knocks you over when you walk in the door and filters all through the building. Food has always been so-so to good.

Their food is always good. It all depends on the staff, whether or not the dining experience is good or not.

I've always liked Cracker Barrel or breakfast. Great pancakes and real maple syrup.
I've never eaten any other meal there though.

We ate there yesterday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. Had the chicken and dumplings and it was good on a cool rainy day. Yes I had to go find my wife before checkout!

Yep, good breakfast. And their Meatloaf is decent, with a healthy squirt of catsup/ketchup.

It's a geriatric place to eat. Put it in the Luby's and cafeteria food category. Always bland but can be doctored to be edible. Meh is my review and opinion of the place

Pretty hard to find fault with a place that serves apple butter!
Do not trifle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

I have eaten there twice, first time pretty good, last time was No Bueno at the old Denton location on I-35 on the west side south of 380.
