Have you ever seen of these before.
we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I had one back in the late 1970s. They were printed up as a gag. Although the first time I went overseas I took it with me as a joke to see if anyone would notice (I also had my US Passport).

This was from when they tried to form a Texas Republic. Mainly to get out of taxes several years ago. My sister got it for me when she worked for the DOJ.

When we went to Alaska this one place we stopped asked if we wanted to get our passports stamped and signed.Several years later we were looking at our passports and where they stamped and signed it,it was gone !.Not even a trace so we decided they used invisible ink.

I have had run ins with a few the Rpublic of Texas folks. Unfortunately the ones I have met remind me more of far left wing college kid from Washington state than a true Texan.

There are some near Longview. KSA engineers had to reroute a pipeline because nobody wanted to deal with them and property access. I think it was at significant additional cost.

Ironic how french as the alternate language made sense 200 years ago but seems out of place now French is still used in in some instances for International treaties, diplomacy and such. Because of subtle vagaries and subtleties the same line can be interpreted different ways by different people depending on the need/mood of the day. Most of the international, deep water, sailors I have known say Portuguese is a good language to know. It's still spoken in one form or another in most of the port Cities around the world.

You can buy one for $15 from this place. https://www.fourstjames.com/products/republic-of-texas-passportWe bought one a few years ago for a friend that was visiting from Great Britain. Even had a stamp made up to show his entry in to Texas and departure. Whether you've lived in Texas your whole life or you're just now getting to know us, your story of Texas starts with the fundamentals. Explore the roots of Texas with your own Republic of Texas Passport™. This unique 40-page collection of historical documents, photos, and stories on the founding of the Republic of Texas will get you off on the right foot. This small, softbound booklet is slightly larger than an authentic passport, and feels a lot better to hold. Special Fibermark La Creme paper gives the Passport’s cover the feeling and appearance of extra fine leather.
You’ll be equally impressed with what’s inside.
The first few pages replicate the functionality of a contemporary passport, but are stylized as being issued by the former Republic of Texas.
The pages that follow the issuance page are likewise replicas of a contemporary passport. Use the nine blank visa “stamp” pages to make notes about your own travel across Texas.
Beyond the notes pages, you’ll find the most useful part of your Republic of Texas Passport: a 26-page abridged history of the Republic, authored by distinguished professor and Texas historian A. Ray Stephens. This is an easy reading narrative of the period spanning 1821 to 1845. Maps and other illustrations supplement the written history.

Back when passports were not needed at the southern border me and some co workers were working in california. The one night we had off we drove to Tijuana. (the only person in the group who had been there was an ex marine I guess that's where they went) either way coming back across the border on foot bp would simply ask what country are you from or what's your nationality something along those lines. One of those old rednecks answered "I'm from Texas, those bp guys smiled, no sir what's your nationality? More irritated this time. "I told you I'm from Texas" no sir what country are you from? I say Shane tell them you're American. Don't these beep beep know where Texas is? Shane just say it. He finally does and we get to go on our way.
