Same. When I was a kid, my dad would back the trailer and I would unload the boat. I can smell it like it was yesterday. What I wouldn't give to fish with him again. This was our last trip together.

Gotta agree with the 2-stroke early morning on the lake. Will also add an Aspen forest.

I love the outdoor blending of aromas, fragrances, bouquet, or scents into what is called spring is in the air.

Probably my top three are:
-VP race fuel exhaust out of a 2 stroke dirt bike.
-a big rain coming in.
-old tractor diesel exhaust

I don't know about favorite, but I love the smell of the Gibson's in Weatherford. It smells just like it did when I was a kid. It's pretty amazing how smells can take you back in time like they do.

Skinnerback, me and someone else here were just talking about the tomato plant smell. Every time I smell it(daily now) I’m 10years old, standing in Papa’s chigger patch, pickin’ maters and Ho’n weeds. It takes me back every time and this smell is growing to be one of my faves.

There’s a certain potpourri that is my Granny’s smell.
Gasoline from a distance smells good.
Faint skunk smell too.
Smell of a field near a low lying creek in Summer as you drive with the windows open and it drops 5 degrees
Smell of the lake before sun up in Summer
2stroke exhaust

I know what you mean. I worked the the grocery business for 31 years. I started in 1975 at Winn Dixie and the smell of supermarkets back the had a certain smell that hardly exist today.

Every now and the I go thru some small town that has an old / small grocery store that I go into and the smell takes me back to when I was 16 and sacking groceries.
