We are looking to purchase a new double wide from a dealer for the ranch. They are telling us that there is no sales tax charged. I have found conflicting info in my Google search, some say 3.25%, some say 3.25% if purchased out of state. and some say .5% on 65% of purchase price (or something along those lines). Anyone have first hand knowledge?

Thanks, I hadn't seen the Texas Comptroller's site. I did see the second one, which was contradicted by another one. Looks like 3.25%is the rate.
