Awesome! My grandfather was stationed in the Aleutian Islands as well back in the 40's...he had lots of fishing and hunting stories about being up there, but wouldn't talk about any of the war stuff

Cool stuff. My grandfather was a coin and bills collector and no telling what all he had in his collection. I know he had a bunch of stuff from his tours overseas in WW2, but I was always more interested in the coins and helping him fill all of the coin books for us grandkids.

Thank you Sir! Anyone have any idea how to date the Mexican Peso? I looked all over it and couldn’t find any date. The wallet was a Canadian touristy souvenir type wallet, not an everyday carry. Based on the condition of the wallet and it’s contents I believe everything is pre-October 1944.
