What TV show was it that your whole family sat down to watch, and would never miss? For us, when I was a kid, it was Bonanza and Gunsmoke.

They were asking that question on some morning show recently. Got me to thinking about it.

Very interesting, as soon as I read Title I thought Gunsmoke, before I read yours. Bonanza would be up there. It really may of only been me and Dad. Wasnt it Sunday night. I remember hearing the start up music and running into the room sliding in my socks like Tom Cruise just in time to out pull the bad guy with Matt. The whole family would of maybe been Lucy.

We did a lot of things together but I don't remember TV being one of them. Don't get me wrong, me and my brothers watched a lot of TV as kids but as a family I can't recall any TV shows. Never really thought about it before.

The westerns, almost any of them. But Gunsmoke, Lone Ranger, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers are the ones I remember most. Never really cared for Hopalong Cassidy, rarely watch the reruns today

Gunsmoke was everyone's favorite but when Lawrence Welk came on the kids better sit down and shut up.

Wild Kingdom I thought was on Saturday day. Or was that Wild World of Sports.
