One of our lease members took the winch handle off and did not tighten the nut. I think an animal pushed in down in to the mud. Does anyone know what size and thread type it might be? I am thinking 7/16 or maybe 1/2 but thread type is still a carp shoot. I have a smaller winch and the nut for it is metric threads. It could be metric, SAE, or maybe even reverse but I doubt latter. One of our lease members has an assortment. Not sure if he tried any of them.
I prefer the local Ace Hardware for stuff like this.
