He was a huge supporter of Law Enforcement when doing so wasn’t highly looked upon. Good guy, he had his issues but who doesn’t? Lord knows I do.

R.I.P. Always thought as much as he got checked by the doc, he’d live forever. Used to listen religiously to him and Stern. What he did for fallen officers’ families as well as the animals he helped along the way, he should be settin pretty up in Heaven. Wade’s right. He helped way before helping was the in thing to do and he did it because he cared. He had a huge heart. I can still hear the cork squeaking on the Gentleman Jack he drank every day on air. RIP Russ. He’ll be up there doing doughnuts in the Batmobile forever now.

Anyone remember when the Stars won the Stanley Cup? Russ swore if they won, he'd run naked down the Dallas North Tollway... he did.

Man he was 60 years old........that's a long life...........somehow people think living to as old as Oxner is a given.
I sure hope not. I've always said that if I don't make it to 100 I'm going to be pissed.
