How many of y’all shoot the 26 and how do you like it ?
What kind of lights does it shoot out? Like are we talkin the mini bulb Christmas lights or a 500 watt flood light?

I have one built by Alamo Precision. I bought it several years ago from a good dude here on the forum. It shoots as good as every other Alamo rifle, but if I had it to do all over, I'd build a 28 Nosler instead. Longer barrel life, waaaay better selection of high-BC bullets, effective range several hundreds yards farther than the 26, etc. That's just my personal opinion after owning and loading for one. Don't let me discourage you if you're a 6.5mm fan. It's still an effing hammer.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

I’m not overly concerned with barrel life since this will be a long range hunting rifle and will likely never see 300 rounds down the tube. Are you shooting 140s out of yours?

I've shot 140 Accubonds, 143 ELD-X, and 147 ELD Match in my rifle. The Accubonds shoot the best. I've had ELD Match come apart at high speed. I've shot about 40 rounds of factory Nosler Trophy Grade ammo and it shoots plenty good and averages 3310 fps in my 26" barrel. I'd buy more of it if I could find some. If you're getting a good deal on that Christensen, go for it. You'll never wish you had more velocity, for damn sure.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

There's a reason the Christensen is for sale and a good deal. Seen quite a few that wouldn't shoot near as good as out of the box, mass produced rifles. 26 Nosler is an overbore. Too much powder, for the amount of bullet. The two really well made custom rifles I did load development for, I could not get them to do what I thought they should. Their best, wasn't that great as far as how tight they shoot. And that was with two different powders. The 28 Nosler, on the other hand, is one of the best cartridges known to man, in my opinion. Well made rifles can achieve 1/4 MOA, and that is not easy to do with big magnums. A 195 gr, 3030 fps from a 26" barrel is a hoss! Best thing that could happen to a 26 Nosler is to get rebarrelled to a 28 Nosler.

Yeah, look at the energy delivery. BarneyWho must have a 20 mph 3 o'clock wind plugged in to get that much correction.
