Exactly. Texas has to quit thinking they are baaaack at every turn. They are building, work on 10 wins and Big12 championship. Recruits will come, got to put people in the league.

Some seem to think a new coach or some better recruits will solve the ills that plagues TU football. They might as well be snapping their fingers and whistling. That'll get just about as far. It's the culture which will have to change.

UT recruiting is heating up, and it's just getting started. They just need to have a good season in order to seal the deal! We have been over this. You need a couple of years of consistency, before you’re “baaack”. Phase 1. Hire a coach Phase 2. Build recruits Phase 3. Win 10 games phase 4. Beat OU, consistently. Phase 5. Win a big 12 championship. Phase 6. Get 5 star recruits Phase 7. Put recruits in NFL. Y’all still at phase 2.

I think this past year was was bad due partly to the social stance of some players as well as coach siding with them. Now some of those players as well as the coach are no more.

I have only met one woman taller than me. Eboni is about an inch shorter than me. But still a very tall woman, and a great coach. She pretty much got my daughter on several college teams, just by her recommendation. But my daughter decided she was done playing.

Things are looking up! After getting the number one RB in the nation in 2020, and 2022(still needs to sign) Texas got the commitment of the second ranked RB in the class of 2023. Rueben Owens is a sophomore out of El Campo TX. The kid has some great feet and plenty of speed.

Texas will probably have a fighting chance this year. Sark plays defenses like a fiddle, just like Lincoln does. It should be an interesting match up.
