Genetators, as a rule, are rated when fed 87 Octane pump gas. When fed LP, there is 10% reduction in output.

From what I have read, a factory pump gas genny, field converted to dual fuel, will run on pump gas, regulated LP or regulated Nat Gas.

I assume a factory duel fuel would also run on all three. However, LP BTU content is about double Nat Gas BTU content. I assume Nat Gas flow rate would double. I need to convert and older Genrac or buy a new factory dual fuel, but I want to use Nat Gas as primary fuel.

Has anyone operated a factory dual fuel with Nat Gas?

Anyone have any knowledge or experience of these applications?

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

Why is output 10% less on propane? Propane is rated at 130 octane.

BTUs, conventional gasoline has an energy content of 116,090 Btus per gallon, while propane has an energy content of 84,250 Btus per gallon. As such, 1.38 gallons of propane has the same amount of energy as one gallon of conventional gasoline.

This. Same reason I am wondering about Nat Gas.
