Been going so hard for 8 or 10 days that I can’t turn it off. Haven’t been in a bed for over a week. This return to normal feels wrong.

And I was right about what temp to run the home. 69 or 70 degrees feels way too hot. At 66 now, and that feels about right.

And I have a serious lack of trust in the power company now. And where’s my freaking propane truck?

Stick a fork in me...I’m done...too weak to pull a sick hooker off a pay toilet...

So this is the reason for the Dr. Phil thread.

It is warming up. The home will be OK. Take a quick vacation to somewhere warm.

I hear what you're saying from Monday through Tuesday I don't think I got more than an hour sleep trying to keep wood stove goin nd the generator.
Wednesday finally had power on in the late afternoon.
Seems it took Thursday and Friday to catch up with sleep.

603 curious who your propane supplier is, I have been waiting on a scheduled refill that was due the 15th, called the 13th and again on the 16th, owners have also called a couple of times and we were promised we were first on the list blah blah blah blah.

total lies and bs, I now have 2 500 gal. tanks that are empty, well one has just under 10% but the other has been on 0 since fri.

amerigas sucks bad, they bought out our local mom/pop supplier who had even come on thanksgiving day about 5 yrs. ago when a tank ran out, driver got an extra dinner and tip that day.

I feel ya pain. Been a rough 12 - 13 months. Sun will be out this week. Get out. Go somewhere, even it just to the grocery store, take a sack lunch, sit in the parking lot and people watch.

Consider spoiling yourself. Treat yourself to a shrimp cocktail.

I’m back, and feeling better. Slept about 11 hours. The mention of a shrimp cocktail made my stomach remind me that I’m hungry.

To answer hopalong, our supplier WAS for many years, West Gas out of West. I could always call and talk to a human, and I knew their driver and his wife. West got bought by Pinnacle, who told me by letter that nothing would change. Heck, everything changed. There’s no human to talk to. Leave a message, if you can, and nobody calls back. I have not the slightest idea if Pinnacle has propane or will ever deliver propane to me. There has been zero communication. ZERO.

I also buy propane (20 and 100# can loads) from Propane Energy in Mexia. Great people, but they can’t deliver bulk to me since I rent the big cans from Pinnacle. I had planned to switch to Propane Energy, but they just got bought by Newton (I think it’s Newton, or something close to that). Right now I seem to be in the propane twilight zone.

I was getting 20# cans filled at Propane Energy the other day, while bitching about Pinnacle, and they told me that StarTex in Waco wasn’t doing so good at orders either, and had even turned off their answering machine. To be fair, I don’t know if that’s true.

Bottom line...Pinnacle has not impressed me in the slightest. If you want human interaction, they aren’t it. I’d like to replace them, if I can find a better supplier, but I don’t know if I can.
