I used to catch some pretty good ones on Lavon when I fished.

Nice one the wife and I went in December and caught a 48,49 and 16 and a few small ones. Those suckers just go where they want to till you tire them out. If and when I buy a bigger boat I'm gonna try my hand at it.

I loved it back when folks caught a really good cat they'd hang the head on the fence or tree with a piece of wire. Let 'em dry until they no longer stink - redneck fish mount!

Man, your pic reminds me of times back in the 90s when we used to set lines at choke and the giants we caught down there.
The big yellows are the best eating catfish there are IMO.
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
