I have a chance to buy a new browning ab3 rifle, in a 30-06 caliber. Does any one on THF have any opinion on these rifles?

I have an opinion, but not a good one.
In my honest opinion the AB3 is by far the worst firearm that Browning has ever put their name on. Trigger is horrible, stock sucks and they are notorious for either being very picky or not being able to shoot at all.
Unless you are getting it for less than $300, I would pass and get a Ruger American, Howa 1500, or even a Savage Axis.

Wife loves hers in 30-06 and we picked it up after rebates about 250
i am cancelling my subscription, i am tired of your issues!
