This and the local lumber yards is all that I can remember using. I used to be able to go to a local lumberyard, and the could special order some exotics.

I have bought and made a few things with wood from Wood World of Texas, good place. most of what I have done though with nice wood was red oak from my place in Mississippi.

For the smaller wood projects, carving turning etc. . . Woodcraft has some exotic stuff
