Very glad to see the folks at Ruger being so aggressive in growing the Marlin legacy. Hopefully, every one of these new models will be made in the USA.
Thanks for sharing.

Ruger was quick getting the website up although I would like to see prices. I like Marlin lever guns, have a few. If you are showing someone your lever it’s the Winchester, if you’re going hunting it’s the Marlin.

None that I’ve heard. I would assume anything we see in the next 6 months would be old stock REP rifles. Only an assumption.

That there catalog warms my heart. There was a time when some people despised Ruger. That time is long gone. Thank you Ruger. Earl

I sure hope they turn them around and things don’t get to expensive. If quality goes back up I’d gladly pay a little more. Looks promising so far.

Ruger is about to make the Marlin line Great Again
Remington produced such a turd of a Marlin Sort of... The last few years of Marlins are as crappy as the first few years of Remlins. Once the machines were replaced, the blueprints corrected, and the staff trained they were fine. Ruger has had their issues too but always came through the other side. I can't think of something less appealing than a short barreled, stainless, threaded 1894. Give me an option for a blued 20" 1892...I am guessing they never will since Marlin and Ruger have always been satisfied with the lighter duty 1894.
Pass the gravy.

I have to agree about the last years of Marin and first years of Remlin. I actually have newer Remlin with nice wood and a good fit and finish. Im sure Ruger will have a few growing pains too, I just hope as a company they eat the loss and don’t ship rifles until they have it right. That’s an expensive decision but one that cost Remington more in the long run for not making it.
As to the threaded barrel stainless, that may be the first rifle that makes me gets a Suppressor. A big fat 45 running about 1050fps should be dang quiet and deadly to anything in the woods.

I’m interested in the anniversary 60SS and maybe a short barrel lever action. Excited to see them back on the market.

Got my eye on the 336 with the curly maple wood stock. Gorgeous. A model 60 would be a nice bonus.
