Two extreme examples in one video. What not to do, get very stuck, and how a pro runs a excavator.

That must have been an old filled in pond. What a mud hole.

One shot is all it should take.

Yup, if you stick one of those to where someone with the right skills cannot get it out you have done something. Hydraulics on them are amazing.

I watched that last night, he’s so lucky the water didn't run into that hole it’s crazy. It would have been a whole different can of worms if the stuck one didn’t run. I’ve had a few buried but not that bad, the idiot just kept trying to get it out and turned a bad situation into a nightmare.. I bet his insurance premiums go up lol,

Anybody can play around on one but very few can actually label themselves as an operator. I do recommend playing in one if you never have.

I used to work for J. I. Case Construction Eq. Co. in Euless, TX. We put on an annual operator competition for all our customers. It was timed, skills, and speed with Excavators and Back Hoe doing various placement skills and tricks. Beer (afterwards)and Barbeque brought in several hundred competitor. First, Second, Third, etc. place won some several hundred dollar prizes. Some operator skill were unbelievable. It was great for business and customer relations.

This one takes some skills and nerves climbing a hundred feet in the air.
