This cartridge got hung up while chambering. Though I've reloaded for a few years, I have not reloaded much at all and have not encountered this. Can the brass be saved or should I pitch it and move on?

Never seen that either. If it will chamber i'd shoot it and see what happened when i sized it.

If the brass is important to you, pull the bullet, dump the powder and trim the case shorter.

Fireman’s suggestion is the easiest. I doubt that accuracy will even be affected by it.

Have the same t-shirt

Chamfer the case mouth and it happens less often. Got a box of Winchester 22 Hornet years ago that had 3 in it.

yup, file the bur off and shoot it. i'd be more interested in finding what it hung up on though. looks like a pretty significant mar on that bullet. just my 2cents
