Retired truck equipment salesman in the family business. 'Sold to Terex in '03. Landlord for that property 'til Dec. '19 when we sold it. 'Subsequent events made me look like a freaking genius, but it was all sheer luck. "A blind hog", etcetera.

Mostly retired 5 years now after 40years HVAC. Worked my share of holidays, nights and weekends. Would have worked today but customer asked for tomorrow.

Beef producer, head mechanic, senior fence builder, manure management coordinator. Just another day, livin' the dream.

Researcher for university and in school full time. I got the day off, went squirrel hunting, didn't shoot anything. Life is good.

Being retired, I don’t do much of anything unless I want to (and when the wife gives me orders). Did some chainsawing today.

But what I was, was a Chemical Engineer for about 10 years, then an oil trader/NY Mercantile trader for 10 years, then 19 years in Raw Material and Chemical sourcing for North, Central, and South America for a big corporation. Quite a ride...

Career LEO 25 years, worked at TDCJ before that.

Oh wow. My same career path. Did 9 yrs at TDCJ all when they started up in the west Texas areas. Worked in Ft Stockton and Lamesa. Now 21 yrs as an LEO.

I wear quite a few hats at a small mechanical engineering company. Our company also uses and sells very high end 3D printers and instructing classes on the CAD program (Creo) we use. My official title is Sr. Mechanical Designer / Software Instructor but am also the lead user on our high end Metal 3D printer, nylon HP MJF 3D printer, and a couple of others. We have a full assortment of materials we can print in a series of 6 different printers, along with multiple post processing units.

Job title - Aviation Expert, (safety and audit oversight over all company and contracted aviation assets in North America) the last thing I would ever refer to myself as, but it pays the bills.

I started in Huntsville, then went to the work camps in Big Spring and Sweetwater, then East to Palestine, then back out West to Colorado City. If I could do it all over again I would have purchased a 5th wheel and a 1 ton lol.

Subsea Construction Foreman. Was a commercial diver for a couple of decades. Now oversee oilfield construction projects in deeper water. Up to (down to) 10,000 feet.

I was with the group that opened the N5 Transfer unit in Ft Stockton. From there I went to the Smith Unit In Lamesa Texas. Lamesa then got the "Super Seg " unit adjacent to it and I finished off there.

I feel sorry for those TDCJ Bosses, no good pay and the schedules sukked monkey balls back then. Those 5-1s I hated and only one weekend every 6 weeks if I remember correctly? i'm not sure if has been any better but I hope it is. They are always short on Bosses at all units it seems.

Oilfield service company trying to survive 9 more years to retirement

I spent 8 years in hotels and got out 4 months before Covid destroyed it. Now I am working as a hotel and commercial real estate consultant in the private equity sector. We help private equity firms and sometimes public companies with carve-outs, performance improvement, value creation, M&A, and a plethora of other things.

No work for me today since our team is in-between projects. Hoping to pick one up soon; I've been bored since Christmas.

Hacker. Using stupid buzzwords I work in Cyber Security. Offensive security, defensive security. Sometimes both wrapped in one. Also stupid buzzwords, Black Hat, White Hat, Grey Hat. Depends on who needs what. Mostly retired. Would be fully retired if the world would get its [censored] together and people would leave me the [censored] alone.

Pursuing a PBB (Professional Beach Bum) certification.
