The Sheriff’s Office has the evidence and says that the bag contained about 2 kilos of heroin worth approximately $300,000.

Friend of mine about 10 years ago same thing happened to him, it was 2 bricks of coke along with a pistol.

He turned it in to the police.

I was driving an auction truck a friend was flipping and a needle fell out of the headliner. I jumped out of that little ranger still rolling I wanted away from that nasty used needle so bad.

When I was in high school my old man found a half pound of marijuana in one of his company trucks and flushed it. I could have turned that into a nice payday. He wasn’t going for the split I offered.

Years ago when traveling for work rented a car from Sears aka Avis dealer. The guy checking the car to me said see that car over there, I said yep. Car was all muddy and beat up and dropped off in the middle of the night. He said when cleaning out the car there was a paper bag under the driver seat with $14K in it.
I'm sure the renter showed up some time to claim, I sure hope so.

I was on a hunting lease close to the border in Webb county. The season before I got on a backpack full of contraband was found, and turned into the border patrol.

This has happened before. I saw a program one time something similar was found in a truck crossing the border from Mexico to the USA by customs. But it was a big stack of cash. The owner had just bought the vehicle at auction a few weeks back. Customs kept the cash and let him go.

Former co-worker of mine bought an old VW camper van to restore. It was pretty ragged. He removed one of the panel liners in the back and found a baggie of ditchweed. Guessed it was an from an owner back in the 70s or early 80s (he bought it in about 2014/15). He said he wanted to see if it was still good, so got some papers, but as he started to try to roll, it pretty much turned to dust and had no smell, so he just tossed it.
