As to suppressors, I always have my two dogs with me in the Kawasaki Mule or Jeep and often shoot raccoons, coyotes and hogs from the vehicle or close to it and I don't want my dogs to go deaf like my old departed Lab did from hanging around the range and me shooting non-suppressed when hunting with her. I'd also like to preserve what hearing I have left too!!!

Granted I shoot a lot more ammo hunting that most (approx 800rds last year) so this is a bigger issue for me.

The above being said, I VERY rarely hunt with a non-suppressed rifle anymore. Your right a suppressor isn't "Hollywood" quiet, but a good quality suppressor does mitigate the sound quite effectively. I use WC Quell Ti suppressors and the best comparison I can give you is that shooting the 300 HAM'R the muzzle blast/action noise is very comparable to shooting a non-suppressed Ruger 10/22 with high velocity ammo. For non-WC suppressors I've used and like the Thunder Beast Ultra 7 which has a comparable efficiency, size and weight. I'm sure there are other good ones on the market, but I don't have any personal experience with them.

Regarding 300 HAM'R ammo availability, we're loading it 5 days a week and filling orders as fast as we can. We're in good shape on cases, powder and primers. But some bullets are in short supply so some loads my be out of stock from time to time because of this. We've been promised a LARGE shipment of the Speer 130gr HHC bullets in early February, enough that we will also be able to sell them for handloading too.

I've been checking out the specs and I'm leaning towards a Tactical Hunter (fluted) in 300 HAM'R. Any rough guesstimate on about how long the wait would be?

Just ordered two 300 Ham’r Complete Uppers
For my Troy “Other” (Brace) 11.3 bbl with pinned Q-Comp, 10.4 rail, Sniper Veil Camo FDE paint.
For Rebel Arms AR 16.25 bbl 1-15 twist, Q-Comp pinned, Gray Camo.
Was originally going to go lightweight but wanted forward assist (you have to go forged) so went forged on both.
Also ordered rail covers and bulk 110 & 135 FTX Ammo.

Did they give you an approximate wait time on the 11.3"?

I've been waiting for barrels to pop up again for a couple months because I have all the stuff laid aside to assemble one once I have a barrel. I would consider just buying a complete upper though if the wait was looking to be less than 4 months

I just checked with Tressa and she says 3-4 months. We keep producing more, but our backorders still keep going up.......... Hopefully we will have our new machine shop up and running by late Feb and this will help on a lot of products. We received delivery of 10 new CNC and 3 more EDM machines on Dec 23 and have a couple more CNCs and another laser coming in mid-month.

tex - i've shot quite a few 125 tnt's. for the last three quarters of 2020 i was ordering whatever i could get from 110 to 135. i had 1,000 tnt on backorder and they recently came in. i like them because sometimes they can be had in boxes of 500 on the cheap. i'll switch to them when the 125 pro hunters run out. honestly i don't think i really matters that much. if you've got a shot at a standing, unalarmed animal, it'll go down with any bullet hit in the earholio vicinity.

primers are the bottleneck now. thankfully davidK or elktow or whatever his name is, put me back in the game with a boat load of cci 450s. thanks man!!

Jeebuz you got #450 hookups too? Charmed life. Im down to my last 200 and I have to go back to using FGMM for the next case. After that I'm going to have to start working into the milspec stuff. I have multiple bricks of about everything else but no small rifle magnums.

Has anyone else moved to Winchester, Wolf military, or CCI milspec primers "successfully" since #450s dried up? Successfully as in not having to rework charge weight dramatically?

In a pinch like this any primer except the soft Federal 200 and 205s will work OK, especially CCI400 and 41 they may just show some cratering where the 450s don't

Who manufactured the last two batches of brass you were selling on your site? Starline or Sig?
While you are OOS, I've found Starline cases for sale but want to make sure I am getting brass identical to brass I am using now.

It would have been Sig mfg, we have a bunch on order from Starline, but haven't received any form them is quite a while. The latest promise from Starline is early Feb delivery. Sig has done well delivering considering the current market situation. We received 155k Sig mfg nickel cases yesterday.

Getting bullets has been our major problem..... Speer and Hornady are using up most of their bullet mfg capacity to feed their own ammo production, so OEM bullets are tough to get right now.
