Can't never could. Cleaned up hearts make great tacos. Throw it in an instapot with some garlic and cook till its nice and tender. Delicious!

Just not something that I ever cared for. Guts is guts to me, but my hunting partner loves heart, so I save them for her. That elk heart from yesterday was huge, and is safely hiding in the freezer for her!!

I ate the heart from the bull elk I killed last year. It made pretty good fajitas...….but I just was a little squimish about eating it. I dunno. I guess organ meat just isn't my favorite.
