Nobody will ever convince me that South Texas doesn’t have the prettiest whitetails on earth. They get pretty dang big, too.

Nobody will ever convince me that South Texas doesn’t have the prettiest whitetails on earth. They get pretty dang big, too. I agree - I have access to the Boone and Crockett website - I get that there are big deer in many places but if you look on their website at the highest number of typical and non typical LF book deer Texas is among the best - if you narrow down to our county just in Texas it is the best even though it is quite a bit a smaller area than other south texas counties - is by far and away the leader - that is over 10 to 30 years - to me the proof is in the pudding as they say
