Never used one when I buy a house, waste of time......... Bingo........they ruin more real estate deals than anyone I know.

If you have a FB account, look up Deb Sadler with 2020 Home Inspections. If it is just a few questions, she may help, or point you to a reputable home inspector in your area. If I ever buy another home in Alabama, I will fly her here for the home inspection.

They try to know a little about everything and a lot about nothing.
Inevitably there is always one that goes to church with your realtor.
I hired one once that deserves to be shot.

Never used one when I buy a house, waste of time......... I strongly disagree if you have a good one. I have a mechanical/electrical/hydronic background, but another pair of eyes to help you inspect the property is valuable. My guy caused me to back out of signed deal because of something I missed. Never use one that you have not spent time quizzing. If you know the subject, their BS will float to the top immediately. Marc
