I have one in the often hated [here at least] 6.5 CM. The barrel is a 24" bull and is not threaded. For those who shoot the longer yardages, is it better to thread for a muzzle brake or not when it comes to accuracy or does it matter?

I have one thats threaded that I dont have anything on it. Its just like yours but I put in a oryx chassis. Its heavy enough that a muzzle brake wouldnt help watching my poi and accuracy is really good with my reloads.

Threading for a brake won't impact accuracy. Putting a brake on to see impacts and make quick corrections for follow-up shots will improve your hit percentage.

Mine is in an MDT LSS Gen 1 chassis. Thanks for the guidance on the bull barrel. I was wondering if it would make enough difference to warrant the cost. I will leave mine factory.

My 10T weighs in at 14.5 pounds fully loaded. I didn’t need a muzzle break for the 308, but I had a spare so I had it installed. I was surprised at how little recoil the gun has now, it’s like a 22mag

Yep, I've got a 10T in 308. I added a brake just to give me a better chance to see impacts. Shot this 5 shot group at 100 yards. The one shot not in the bull was me. I should have stopped at 4 shots. ![[Linked Image]](https://texashuntingforum.com/forum/pics/userpics/2021/01/full-14913-273714-308_group.jpg)
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.
